Melbourne Kids TKD Championships

The Melbourne Kids TKD Championships provides up and coming Youth TKD Fighters the opportunity to get match time in a controlled and safe environment. 

Our aim for this competition is simple.

• To provide a competition avenue for up and coming Youth TKD Athletes so they may develop their skills and experience in a safe and fun environment. 
• To provide a value-for-money experience for Athlete and Coaches.

Kids are split into two natural categories of Developing (Yellow, Blue Belts) and Elite (Red and Black Belts).

The day will be split into two sessions according to Developing and Elite comps. Kids will be matched to the closest sized child given their natural weight as well as age categories. 

All athletes will be weighed on the day in their uniform, no weigh in prior or weight category selection required.

We will endeavour to give all athletes 2-3 matches given opponent suitability. 

Session times will be published the week of the event after the close of entries.
